Role Overview:

The Application/Production Support role at NSEIT focuses on providing comprehensive support for critical applications with a specialty in Linux and SQL environments. The candidate will be responsible for monitoring and maintaining production systems to ensure maximum uptime and performance. This position requires close collaboration with development teams and stakeholders to ensure smooth system operations and timely resolution of any incidents.

Key Responsibilities:

• Application Support: End-to-end support including debugging, troubleshooting, and optimizing application performance.
• Production Support: Continuous monitoring of production systems to maintain stability and handle issues proactively.
• Incident Management: Efficiently manage and resolve incidents to minimize business disruption.
• Collaboration: Partner with development teams, business analysts, and other stakeholders for effective application deployment and support.
• Documentation: Keep detailed documentation of system configurations, processes, and procedures updated.
• Continuous Improvement: Identify potential improvements, implement best practices to enhance system reliability and performance.
• On-Call Support: Provide after-hours support for critical system issues when required.

Key Technical Skills:

Linux, SQL, Application Support, Production Monitoring, Incident Management, Troubleshooting, Performance Optimization, Documentation, Capital Markets or BFSI Domain Knowledge

Requirements:

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field.
• Experience in Application or Production Support roles, specifically with Linux and SQL technologies.
• Strong troubleshooting and analytical skills with a problem-solving mindset.
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
• Domain experience in Capital Markets, Trading, or BFSI is highly preferred.
• Certifications in Linux, SQL, or ITIL are advantageous.
